Take a break from the well-traveled roads and byways and escape to one of Napa's most scenic waterways, the Napa River. From the seat of a kayak, you'll capture a perspective of the valley that most tourists - and even many locals - never get to see.

Your paddling adventure will take place on part of the river that is a tidal estuary - home to a wide variety of wildlife including mallards, green-winged teals, mergansers, wood ducks, herons, egrets, kingfishers, rails, grebes and the endangered clapper rail.

The river's calm waters are ideal for novice paddlers. Your guide will give you all the instruction you need.

After your paddling excusion, we'll make a stop at a nearby winery in the Carneros Region to toast a glorious afternoon in Wine Country.

Our tours cater to a "tourist pace." The emphasis is on enjoying the scenery and discovering the abundant wildlife - both in the water and along the shore.
